greetings to all those in favor of "trying" to start a movement!!! i commend your efforts! i dont aim to distrust but to add my angle of beliefs. i know the research, ive studied both sides! im on the fench when it comes to changing the laws. so with help to have a solid debate. im open for thoughts and a fair attitude!!!

Now I don't know who this individual is or what their intent is. I do know by the connotation of the above message, there is definitely no cohesion of thoughts that would be indicative of a mature thought pattern. That leads me to believe one of three things. Either English is not their primary language, they are possibly either not physically or mentally mature, in which case would render their comments invalid. Personally I have an issue with the tone of the statement they made. Placing quotation marks around trying in your sentence implies to me that you somehow think that we are fighting a losing battle. This is merely conjecture but I certainly feel we are gaining momentum at an ever increasing rate. So in conclusion I do not believe this individual shares our views on this wonderful plant. Sorry the whole conversation kinda rubbed me the wrong way and I felt a need to vent lol.

I agree Howard, L.E.R., but Verbum is a bum and has not been back since his statements almost 2 weeks ago, he got to me the 1st thing he posted, and I replied and he thought I was rude and not a good proponent of this site so I let it him have some of his med. especially about the April 20 show, he thought the band was " heavy metal and too loud" and was the place wheelchair accessable and so on.

Sorry I missed this thread.

Hello everybody:) I'm a healthy 44 yr old male and no need for medical cannabis for myself.
But my Wife has daily pain due to a work injury she sustained 10 years ago. She tore her rotor cuff and has scoliosis and has PTST from being kidnapped when she was 16 from a gas station.
I've seen what pills can do for her and I know what cannabis does for her;)
It really is a special plant:)

I also grew up with a alcholic step-dad who would be violet everytime he would drink. But when he had cannabis to smoke he would not drink as much or not at all. I was kicked and beaten just because he was drunk.
We all would run and hide when he came home late because you knew he was drinking.
My Mom and I suffered the most all those years. It was not until I got older and big enough to fight back that it ended for me. Mom still deals with it. He still drinks and is alot older now,67 but I always knew he was much better to be around when he was smoking and not drinking.

I mention this to my mom a few months back about dad,he should be smoking instaed of drinking. She replied back " all he did was watch tv and snicker all the time" . I could not believe what she was saying. So you you forgot about all the times he beat us and kicked us and threw us out of the house in the dead of winter with nothing but are pajamas on?

But I did'nt,she is like alot of other people who belives because smoking marijauna is against the law then it has to be no good. Sad:(

I'm here to help get this to the people who need this.
Whatever it takes

Hello all!, and thanks for the great website and dedicated efforts to uphold liberty.:cheer:

My name is David and I am 46, male, U.S. Army Vet. I was in basic training when Ronald Reagan air raided Ghadafi and my drill sergeant said we were going to be the first ones on the ground!!! That motivated us but it never transpired and my enlistment was up before the Gulf Wars started. I have deep respect for all who have served and that is a major reason for my involvement in this cause. I can see by the many testimonials on this site that its hurting people’s health, sanity, and dignity to not have the meds they know are best for them. For gosh sakes, it’s just an herbal remedy!:S

As for medical cannabis, my soul pours out for my wife who really needs it more than me. She has severe RA (rheumatoid arthritis) and at such a young age is already impacting her ability to be active and energetic which is her nature. It not only helps her RA but helps with the side effects of the chemo she needs to keep her RA in check.

Personally I have suffered anxiety, depression, and insomnia as a result of aspergers (high functioning autism), which makes it difficult for me to socialize and this can be very debilitating in todays highly social culture and work environments. I had been on/off anti-depressants and prescription sleeping pills for a long time, then re-discovered one of the pleasures of my 70’s youth (cannabis) and was instantly off of the prescriptions; until the weed was gone. Interestingly enough, I don’t rely on the deadly, addictive RX drugs as much anymore (maybe that was the renewed self awareness and peace experienced by the MJ), but still need them as I don’t have access to cannabis other than going to ‘da hood’ and risking being criminalized or becoming a crime victim!

I like the outdoors, biking, am an intermediate guitar and beginning banjo player, happily married for 22 years, have 2 great kids and am deeply inspired by the bravery of the many supporters and organizers of this group.

I sincerely look forward to getting to know and be friends with all of you.
David H.

Hi everyone! I stumbled upon this website the other day, and I'm glad I did. I suffer from chronic pain due to a couple of illnesses leaving me on permanent disability, and long for a day when I can medicate with a natural plant, rather than these darn pills that are destroying my liver. I see an awful lot of posts on this site about people wishing they had a safe place to purchase. I wish that for all of us. Some of the things we find ourselves fighting for these days are just ridiculous. I get tested every month or every other month thanks to the awesome laws in NC & paranoid docs. I really hope the days of using plants for medicine are closer than we think!
