We have set up a new medical column here on the website: NCCPN Medical News.

The purpose of this column will be to review some of the basic science of the endocannabinoid system, how it influences health and disease, how it can be best managed to alleviate suffering and maximize our healing potential, and so on...

My aim is to manage this medical column like a blog, so feel free to leave comments and ask questions, especially if there are topics you would like me to address.

The column itself can be accessed from the home page from the upper right of the screen or follow at: NCCPN Medical News

Thanks to Perry Parks & Bewellfarmer for making this happen.

Peace to all.

I received a call this am from a ALS patient from Greensboro. She and her husband attended a ALS conference in Washington, DC and stood up and asked them to please look into helping ALS patients receive cannabis. This disease is so devastating, the majority of Dr. Kevorkian's patients suffered with this disease. They told the conference and the attending legislators that "anything" that could help these patients needed to be allowed and allowed legally. Maybe hope is finally on the way!
May Peace Be Your Journey!

Just posted a new article on the Medical Cannabis News Forum. This one's on the topic of drug testing.

Previous articles include a primer on the endocannabinoid system and cannabinoids.

Kevin, your article on testing has been a great contribution. The more information available on this site about Cannabis..and more importantly relevant and accurate information..the more our site will be visited for "what's happening in the NC Medical Cannabis Act 'NOW'.

Most of our articles are hours old, not days, weeks or months. Get the word out, we are being noticed.

Case in point, DPA contacted me for a meeting next week. That will happen in Raleigh. DPA has money and VISIBILITY.

Also, for the vets, our Media Director made a 30 video that played on two California Stations in support of Prop A in Butte County..passed 54:42
That has also gotten nccpn recognition in california
