You may want to be in contact with OKIE SMOKIE about this interview and work your efforts together. From what I understand he is going to be talking to someone in Charlotte as well and is looking for people to talk to this person. I'm sorry I don't know any details except that it is in Charlotte. I am way too far to drive, but, I can sign petition started here if that would help. I am getting to the point that I do not feel so safe any more driving. In my younger days you wouldn't be able to stop me, but, those days are behind me and I am sorry I am not much help other than to support the people on this site who are fighting for the rights of all of us. I will always be there to hear from you or listen to you in this fight and to sign petitions, but, that is about it for me. I am sorry to say that and wish you guys a safe and great trip.

It is too much of a bummer to know all that is going on, and this F-ed up state supported the marriage amendment and gave up rights to More New Tax Money, so the back assed people in this state have to raise Taxes somewhere else on existing things. They don't listen when leave a message when you call to them, What the Hell are they doing in office if they don't do what they should. Answer the phone and talk! find out what North Carolina wants, but no connect ya here or there and then the line goes dead. What a Bummer

I can't believe that more people are not JUMPING at this opportunity!! I thought media exposure was KEY for the cause

Alex, we all need to stay connected even if it is just for support of our fellow fighters. There are people who have different talents and have been called for different positions. Some speak, some write, some of us sit on the sidelines sharing our support, our ears, and sometimes we write people just to cheer them on. This does not mean, in my opinion, that we don't count in this fight. I too like I said need to sit on the sidelines most of the time, but, I am always here checking sites, and showing my support. So don't give up my friend as we are all in this together and you do play an important part in all of this. You do matter to this site. So hang on and stick around and together we can rally the troops.

I will contact Ms. Chou on Monday to discuss the situation. I am capable of conducting the interview but would prefer to do it with a group of people. If we allow media coverage to get away, we are losing valuable exposure. If anyone is interested in speaking with Ms. Chou feel free to volunteer.

Free Publicity on TV. I guess no one wants to bring it back up, she wanted to interview me to bring the story back up to date, I was writing on behalf of nccpn, but I will delete it and quit writing her about the interview.

Alex, I commend you on your efforts to get media attention on behalf of medical cannibis. I too do not ungerstand why no one pursued this and pressed for that interview... I am sorry you didn't get more support and responses about it. Maybe some of the others are contacting her and will get it going as this issue needs all the media attention it can get. Why has Perry not jumped on this chance to talk with Renee Chou

You know....I been asking myself WHY too...... Why haven't MORE people in leadership positions gone after this interview??? FREE MEDIA ATTENTION and it just gets PASSED OVER??? Alex did all the footwork and actually got her interested in doing an interview with him and NCCPN Leaders and no one seems to think it important enough to follow through..

Maybe he was looking to get some SUPPORT and some LEADERSHIP to HELP him make the interview happen and get the FREE MEDIA PUBLICITY... I am hoping that Howard has contacted her as he said he would and got the ball rolling on it... if not then I cannot blame Alex or anyone else for their dissappointment in the lack of interest shown by leaders and members alike.

Leaders and Members alike... Maybe I should do it??? Maybe we should ALL do it and support and Thank Alex for his efforts to make this cause more PUBLIC... I just thought media attention and education were KEY to making any headway toward getting medical cannabis legalized in this state. Who's upset? All I see is people asking the simple question in response to Alex's post about an actual televised interview with a reporter on the benefits of medical cannabis with himself and KEY Leaders/Speakers/Members of NCCPN .. And him getting fustrated at the lack of response or support. This is a diverse group that is made up of primarily patients who need medical cannabis for varying degrees of physical and mental disabilities and illnessess. Not all members can jump in a car and go to an interview or donate a lot of money ... But I would like to think that those who can would support free publicity for the main cause that this organazation represents and speak for ALL of us as a group....
